Logan Men's Basketball Wins Seventh Straight Game and 11-1 Overall

Vonnie Patterson scored 22 points to lead John A. Logan to a 76-55 home win over Lewis & Clark Saturday afternoon.  The Vols never trailed in the game and led 34-22 at the half.   It was the seventh straight win for the Vols who are 11-1 on the season.    

Five players scored in double figures including Patterson's 22. Jay Scrubb scored 13 points, followed by David Sloan with 12 points and 17 assists, and Jonah Jackson and Chris Harris with 10 points each.  The Vols out rebounded Lewis & Clark 35-26 with Antwan Campbell leading the way with 8.

Lewis & Clark, 4-8, was led by Dawson Berry with 12 points.

The Volunteers are back in action on Sunday with a 3 p.m. game against Kankakee at John A. Logan.
