Bio
Robb Wicks enters his first season as an Assistant Coach with the Volunteers. Coach Wicks handles the catchers, helps hitters, and supports Logan’s recruiting efforts.
Prior to Logan, Wicks was an Assistant Coach at Carl Sandburg College from 2020-2024. At CSC, Wicks handled the catchers, pitchers (2022-2024), while helping with hitters and recruiting duties.
Before joining the college ranks, Wicks was the Head Baseball Coach at Tremont HS from 2014-2019. Under Wicks, THS held a record of 138-51, while winning 4 HOI Conference titles and 2 IHSA Regional titles.
During his playing career, Wicks played at Kankakee Community College for 2 years and later transferred to Western Illinois University. After his playing days, Wicks joined the United States Marine Corps, where he honorably served as a Radio Repairman and USMC Marksmanship Instructor from 2008-2013. Robb married his wife, Cassy, in September 2011. They welcomed their son, Easton, in 2013 and their daughter, Ensley, in 2017.
